April Wine in Concert! Classic 70s & 80s Rock Band April Wine Played an Outdoor Concert on August 25, 2007 at Weir Baseball Field, Upper Sackville, Nova Scotia, Canada. Weir Field is located just minutes from Lower Sackville and only 20 minutes from the capital city of Halifax.

I want to thank you for asking me to help out. It was a great experience and I enjoyed it immensely.

I found this to be one of the best organized events I have been to in a very long time. Ironically enough, I had no intention of going to this outdoor event. I will say this though, from now on I will be one of the first in line to support another event like this.

I personally feel the committee has set a precedent here for other such events anywhere and I feel our community can support, and will support more of these events.

I was very proud to say I was there and part of a great performance from ALL the bands.

It was awesome to be apart of Weir Rockin 07, and already I am excited as to what you have in store for next year.

For a first time event, the organization was amazing. The feedback in the community has been outstanding, and I really believe that it has made the community stronger and prouder.
